ThermPIR panels - more usable space
Boards termPIR® are characterised by very low thermal conductivity coefficient (λ)which means that they are very good thermal insulators. Compared to other thermal insulation materials such as polystyrene or mineral wool, termPIR panels® can provide the same thermal insulation with less thick.
Advantages of the lower thickness of termPIR® insulation:
- More usable space: Less insulation thickness means more usable space in the building. This is particularly important for small houses and flats.
- Lower construction costs: Less insulation thickness can reduce construction costs as it requires less material and labour.
- Better aesthetics: Thinner walls can give a building a more modern and elegant appearance.
Example:
If you want to use polystyrene with a coefficient of λ = 0.040 W/mK to insulate a 25 cm thick external wall, you will need 15 cm of insulation. In the case of termPIR® boards with λ = 0.023 W/mK, 10 cm of insulation will be sufficient. This means that we will gain 5 cm of usable space in the building.
termPIR® panels are the perfect solution for anyone wishing to achieve excellent thermal insulation while creating more usable space in the building.
