Oborniki boards (sandwich panelsPIR panels) are one of the most important building materials used in the construction of livestock buildings. Maintaining optimum temperature and humidity conditions in buildings such as poultry houses, cowsheds, pigsties or stables is key to preventing the development of diseases, fungi and moulds, which directly affects the well-being of the animals.

The use of manure boards in livestock buildings ensures that the right microclimate is maintained and guarantees excellent air-tightness and thermal insulation. For the construction of this type of buildings, both wall and roof slabs are used. These panels are used for pitched and flat roofs, suspended ceilings and external walls. Thanks to their polyisocyanurate core and steel sheathing, these panels are resistant to biodegradation.

Use of sandwich panels in agriculture

PIR-core slabs are used not only in livestock buildings, but also in other agricultural and industrial facilities such as granaries, barns, garages and cold stores and freezers (in which case special refrigeration panels are used).
